About

Allison has taught piano for over 15 years to  students of all ages.  In addition to teaching, she enjoys collaborating with other musicians and currently serves as accompanist for Southeast Polk High School choirs.  Past performances include a program with violinist Colleen Ferguson at Eastern Kentucky University and a piece with violinist Rebecca Bressanelli in Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall. 

Previously, she has taught private lessons in the Iowa City area and group lessons in West Des Moines and has participated in various ensembles while earning B.M. and M.A. degrees in Piano Pedagogy from Drake University and the University of Iowa, respectively.  

She looks forward to making music with her students throughout the year!
